LINKS AND NOTES
Hopefully, you will find this website amusing and fun...that's the point.
It is also a way for the family to see the latest models...thanks for
peeking in.
The models here are very recent work or they might be decades old.
This modeling bug has been around for a good while, but now there is
more time to devote to it. It is also fun to see just how far this "art" form
has come. There are models being produced now that are amazing and
the internet has allowed an explosion of aftermarket parts.
Tech notes: After some trying of various paints, I’ve settled on the
Mission Models brand. I don’t have the
inclination to experiment widely and they just work. That includes the
overcoats like the gloss. After trying lots of products (Future floor wax,
Microscale Gloss, Vallejo Gloss, Humbrol varnish and Mission Models),
all of them are good and work. So, it was time to settle and Mission
Models was an easy pick among good options. Future is easy,
inexpensive, works well and will get used some.
BTW…the paints are made in the US, so it supports jobs here at home.
As a condo dweller, a Silentaire compressor or similar, is a must to not
bother the neighbors. Try to get a used one.

Not many clues here, huh? It is meant to be that way.
